VIP Early Access for Space

What's up guys,

Got some news for you all. Like mentioned in last weeks newsletter, I started working on something new to solve a problem that has been on my mind for years. And I seriously mean years, ever since I first started creating videos on YouTube almost 10 years ago now.

A bit of wisdom that was passed down to me from the very beginning was to never delete a single piece of footage, ever. So without really understanding why, I just blindly followed that advice and I can confidently say that I am so grateful that I did.

Over the years as the videos compounded and I found myself creating more and more, my collection of memories and footage grew as well. Amazing for telling stories, making content, and looking back on, but terrible for my computer storage. Every single week I find myself waiting to offload a drive just so I can get a few extra gigs of storage, to get a video out for you guys.

i see this in my nightmares

So now with 12+ TB of vlog footage from the past 10 years, the only reasonable thing for me to do was to build a tech company to solve this for creators like ourselves. So today I want to take a minute and reintroduce our startup, Space.

*we also completely redesigned the site (properly named space-landing) :)

We just opened up VIP early access for Space and I'm actively onboarding everyone who reaches out personally this week. We’re currently in the rapid feedback loop part of the process where my days have basically just been 30 minute calls backtobacktoback, to collect as much feedback from our community as possible on what works, what doesn’t and what needs to be built. Of course with every early stage company, it always comes down to the quality of beta users as they very much do influence the features within the product.

We're also keeping it incredibly affordable right now, because none of this is about money yet (shoutout to our investors). It's about getting a way better idea of who we're serving, who we're building for, and the problem we're actually trying to solve here.

So if running out of storage is a problem you face, or this journey is one that you want to get in on early book a call with me and we can get started on giving your computer infinite storage.

The video

I also posted a new video documenting the beginning days of building this company with my friends, basically a video version of this newsletter explaining what I’ve been up to over the last few months.

That's it from me. If you have any questions about anything or are looking for more storage, feel free to book a time on my calendar.

More soon,

Jason
